Pillar of Pi - π - Unclimbed for 30 years
Tucked in the Chilliwack River Valley, sits the most miraculous rock feature I have ever seen. Improbably perched on the north shoulder of Rexford South Peak, the Pillar uncannily resembles the Greek symbol, π. Ever since I first laid my eyes on the Pillar of Pi, I knew that I wanted to climb it. On a sunny September Sunday, it finally happened! From August 19-24, 2025, my friend Ben and I set out for a 5-day traverse over 25 peaks. This blog posts dives more in-depth than the Film, so keep scrolling if you are interested in the details. Buckle-up, this is a long one. I justify the length of this post because it took 3 years to accomplish this linkup, which itself took 5 full da
